This exciting new issue of Critical Care Clinics is devoted to key issues and controversies related to monitoring in the ICU. Topics will cover a wide range of key topics from physiological monitoring to monitoring quality and will include high-tech issues such as installation of computer systems as well as low-tech bedside clinical monitoring systems such as clinical sedation scales.
