Radiological interventions in the female pelvis are now widely accepted for the treatment of various gynecological and obstetric disorders. This volume provides a comprehensive and very detailed review of the performance and role of such interventions. Particular attention is devoted to the minimally invasive technique of uterine artery embolization, which has become a reference procedure in the management of life-threatening postpartum hemorrhage and symptomatic uterine fibroids.
