Orthodontics is no longer a discipline that focuses solely on children and adolescents. Indeed, over the past twenty years, more and more adults have undergone orthodontic treatment to correct malocclusion issues.

There have actually been few new developments in orthodontics since the turn of the century. One of them is skeletal anchorage.
